A Tale of Two Infectious Diseases

Which one are we being told to fear more?

WHY?

On average about 400-500 people die from TB each year in America. Prior to the introduction of the Measles vaccine, Measles killed about 400 to 500 people annually too. however the death rate from TB is far greater than it is for measles. Most people who get measles have a mild illness -- especially if they get it in childhood. Then they get over it and have lifetime immunity. But this is not the case for TB.

The worldwide measles death rate is far worse than in America, because of food insecurity and particularly vitamin A deficiency which can make the disease far more dangerous. But in America, we are routinely told only the worldwide death rate.

Tuberculosis is considered THE most deadly infectious disease worldwide. Though it was very treatable with drugs, there are now multi-drug resistant strains that defy our treatments.

In the past few years, the number of cases of BOTH Tuberculosis and  Measles have increased in New York City...but only ONE of these diseases has prompted health officials to violate the fundamental human rights of people who are not infectious and that's measles...but why? Why are public health officials and the media making a much bigger deal about measles...when it is clearly a much less serious threat?

One of the factors contributing to the increase in TB cases appears to be a lack of funding for the drugs that are used to treat TB. Though funds appear to be tight to address TB -- NY officials DO seem to have the funds to send people door to door to violate the personal privacy rights of private citizens (when there is no evidence that they have ANY infectious disease) by asking them to prove their vaccination status, or risk fines and even imprisonment.

Though measles probably is more infectious, it is not anywhere near as deadly as TB. Also -- since over 90% of the population either had measles as a child or had the vaccine, (which we are told is highly effective) only  a very small percent of the population should even theoretically be at risk....right? So ask yourself -- WHY are we seeing such a very different public health and media response to these two diseases?

Meanwhile many people have come forward with stories alleging their children were seriously injured from the measles vaccine. But those who wish to discuss the documented risks of the measles vaccine, or the science suggesting the vaccine may not be safe are being censored. Reports of Amazon, Facebook, Pinterest and Yahoo Groups removing information that challenges the pro-pharma narrative, or prevents people from sharing their concerns about vaccine safety or the adverse events associated with measles vaccine are growing.

May 4th Update to this post --

Oh my gosh -- I had to pinch myself when I discovered this news article (below) appearing on the Yahoo website!!! Honestly -- I would not be at all surprised if it disappears -- that's why I screen shot most of it and have posted it below for you to see -- in case Yahoo caves to pressure from the powers that be, who consider sharing any facts about the very real safety risks associated with vaccines, "anti-vax" and thus in need of censorship.

Thank you for making this important connection between TB & measles. Clearly, there is a lot more money in enforcing the mandatory vaccination narrative because vaccines are completely risk-free for Big Pharma, and Big Pharma rules...

Yes Tenzin -- that is exactly what is going on. Hopefully enough of us will realize what is going on here before more draconian laws get passed and even more people are hurt.

Thank you for this blog! You clearly lay out the differences in the media response and more importantly... why there is a different response in the media between the two. It always comes down to money.

Yes -- it is about money.

Thanks Matthew
